Job profile

Paris-Dauphine University opens a teaching and research position (maitre
de confences) in Computer Science in data management and information
systems fields. Research will take place at LAMSADE Lab. Teaching will
take place in the University departments, mainly the Department of
Mathematics and Computer Science (MIDO).

Recherche:

Profil: The recruited person will carry his/her research within the
LAMSADE (see below) and for the University Paris Dauphine in data
management and information systems. The research topics that are currently
addressed in Lamsade in these fields are: algorithmic for masses of
complex data, data warehouse for scientific data, Web Services, business
process management, cloud computing, management of web and heterogeneous
data.

About the laboratory: the LAMSADE is a joint laboratory of Université
Paris Dauphine and the CNRS. The research activities of the lab are at the
edge of Computer Science and Decision Support (and more specifically
Operational Research). Both fundamental and applied research is carried
around subjects such as: decision support, decision theory, social choice
theory, operational research, combinatorial optimization, algorithmic
complexity, mathematical programming, decision and artificial
intelligence, information systems, data bases, analytics. We are proud to
be a world class laboratory in Decision Sciences and Technologies.


Teaching:

Profile: the recruited person is expected to contribute to the training
provided by the Computer Science and Mathematics Department of the
University. Likely she/he may have to teach also classes for other
University Departments. Teaching may need to be carried at any among the
five years of studies. More specifically he is expected to be able to
teach mainly information systems and databases. Experience in other fields
like software engineering, programming languages, data mining, web
technology, networks, will be highly appreciated:.
